Welcome to Jeri Gallery
I was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana but grew up in Belleville, Pennsylvania. I moved to Harrisburg, PA in 1996. The Harrisburg area is where I have done most of my professional photography work.
My photography education includes attending both Penn State University (1993-1994) and Harrisburg Area Community College (1995-1996). While attending HACC, I served as an intern for local Harrisburg Photography Studios. For the next 10 years I specialized in wedding photography. I have had the pleasure of photographing Governor Edward Rendell in a wedding posing with the bride and the Joe Paterno family (Scott & Heather’s wedding).
In 2006 I opened my own photography studio called “Jeri Gallery.” In addition to having my own studio I am a member of Professional Photographers of Pennsylvania since 1996. Conferences I attended with the organization have been in Las Vegas, New York City, Atlantic City, and the Bahamas.
I have had the enjoyment of working with various companies. One such includes Carlisle Events National Car Show for eight summers. Also, I worked with Hershey Entertainment Resort and Convention Center (HE & R) for 12 years photographing weddings and corporate events. I presently photograph for the HE & R Marketing Department and Special Events in Hershey.
I especially enjoyed being able to have the opportunity to photograph sports players as well as political figures. At the Field of Dreams in Landisburg, PA, I photographed retired baseball players Brooks Robinson, Maury Wills, Tug McGraw, and many more. Other people I photographed include Governor Ridge at the Harrisburg Hilton Hotel and Jordon Sparks in a New York City parade. I had the pleasure of photographing several Dauphin County Judges and Commissioners at events and parties.
Photography is such a wonderful career, getting to know and meeting different people and cultures. Experiencing many events in people’s lives and making the memories last forever has been delightful.
When I am not photographing I am having fun with my two children Jenna and Jeremy and my precious granddaughter Gabryella Jade.
